Print size = pixels ÷ DPI.

How it works

Print size = pixels ÷ DPI. We divide your width and height in pixels by the chosen DPI to get inches (and centimeters), plus megapixels and the aspect ratio.

300 DPI is the sweet spot for sharp photo prints; lower DPI prints bigger but softer.

FAQs

How do I find my print size?

Divide pixel width and height by the DPI. At 300 DPI, 6000×4000px prints 20×13.3 inches.

What DPI should I print at?

300 DPI for photos, 150 for flyers, 72 for screen only.

Can I print bigger at lower DPI?

Yes, but sharpness drops. Big prints viewed from afar can use 150 DPI.

What are megapixels?

Width × height in pixels ÷ 1,000,000 — total resolution of the image.

Does aspect ratio matter?

Yes — it determines which frame sizes fit without cropping.
