The three calculators on this site, print size, required resolution, and DPI, take pixel counts and inches as input and return a number. That math happens in your browser. No image file, pixel count, or print size you type ever reaches a server we run.
The calculator inputs themselves are not logged, stored, or sent anywhere. What we do collect is standard web analytics: which pages get visited, roughly how long someone stays, and which calculator gets used most. That data is aggregated and is not tied to the numbers you typed.
Analytics and advertising on this site both rely on cookies. A cookie banner lets you accept or decline before either loads; declining still lets every calculator function normally, since none of them depend on cookies to compute a result.
Ads on this site are served through Google AdSense, which may use cookies and device identifiers to show ads based on your browsing elsewhere on the web. Google's own policies, not this page, govern exactly how that targeting works; you can review and adjust ad personalization through Google's account settings.
A small number of links point to products related to printing, and a purchase through one of those links can earn this site a commission. That arrangement never changes a calculator's output or what a guide recommends.
PrintDPI is a general-audience reference tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If how this site handles cookies, ads, or analytics changes in a way that matters, this page gets updated and the date at the top moves. There is no separate notification list to sign up for.
